FUN VALLEY FAMILY RESORT

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions create a legal contract (the “Agreement”) between you and Colorado Fun Valley LLC, otherwise known as Fun Valley Family Resort, and hereafter referred to as “Fun Valley”. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of and/or participation in activities at Fun Valley and your lodging/RV site. Please read the Agreement carefully. By booking a reservation at Fun Valley, you accept and agree to abide by the Agreement. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.

Guests who violate these Terms and Conditions will be asked to cease and desist the activity or may be asked to leave the park altogether without refund.
PAYMENTS

Long-Term Guests: Guests who stay 30 or more nights in the same RV site will be charged the discounted 30+ day rate. The first month's rent must be paid at check-in. Guests must pay the following month's rent and Fun Pass charges before the end of 30 days.

Guests may take advantage of only one discount on their reservation (i.e., receive a promo discount or a 30+ day rate for those guests staying 30 or more nights)

All other guests must pay the outstanding balance for reservation charges upon check-in. All Fun Pass and other charges to the account must be paid in full at check-out.

Guests who have left Fun Valley and have an outstanding balance on their reservation: The credit card on file will be rebilled for the outstanding balance and/or any additional fee (e.g., damage to Fun Valley property, Fun Pass charges, etc.). The guest must have a valid credit card on file.

Lodging guests with pets will be charged a non-refundable $40 cleaning fee per pet.
Form of Payment Accepted:​
Fun Valley accepts cash, major credit cards, bank debit cards, and checks. Personal checks require a photo ID, current address, and phone number. Fun Valley does not cash checks. Insufficient funds checks will incur a $40 Returned Check Fee. All deposits require payment by credit or bank debit cards.
YOUR STAY
Check-In and Check-Out Times:

RV Site: Check-In time is noon, Check-Out/Departure time is 11:00 AM.

Lodging/Unit: Check-In time is 3:00 PM, Check-Out/Departure Time is 11:00 AM.

Guests who do not check out, vacate their lodging/site, and depart Fun Valley by 11:00 AM on their scheduled check-out date will be charged a $50/per hour fee.
Deposit For Reservation:

RV*/Tent Site: $50/week or partial week. A week is defined as 1-6 nights.

Cabins, Motel Rooms, and Rental Trailers: $150/Rental Unit Reserved/week or partial week. A week is defined as 1-6 nights.
*$450 maximum per RV site.​
Cancellation / Early Departure / No Show Policy:

Reservations may be cancelled 60 or more days before your scheduled check-in date with a $50 cancellation processing fee applied for each RV site and/or lodging unit. If you cancel within 60 days of your scheduled check-in date, the deposit for each RV site and/or lodging unit is non-refundable.

Guests who leave prior to their scheduled check-out date:

RV site - will be charged a $50 processing fee and will be refunded the balance of their reservation charge, minus nights on site.​

Lodging - will be charged for all nights reserved; no refund will be given.

If a guest does not arrive by 10:00 PM on the day of their scheduled check-in and no other arrangements have been made, they will be billed one night's reservation fee. The deposit will be retained, and then the reservation will be returned to the reservation system.
Reservations for the Next Season
Guests may reserve their same lodging/RV site and days of the week (i.e. Saturday - Saturday for the following year while staying on the property. If a guest does not make a future reservation prior to the check-out date for each RV or Lodging unit, their time slot for that lodging/RV site will be released for use by another guest.
Lodging Guest Fees:

Room keys should be returned to the Office. Failure to do so will incur a $25 fee for each key not returned.

Please clean dishes and silverware before your departure using the dish soap provided. A $30 washing fee will be assessed for leaving dirty dishes.

Missing items (including pillows) will be billed at a full replacement cost, with a minimum of $25 per item.

Any damage to the property including graffiti will be assessed and charged to the card on file for the reservation. A $150 minimum fee will be applied.

Pet hair, feces, or other damage will incur additional charges. Pets are not allowed on furniture.

Smoking will incur a $150 minimum fee.

Cannabis and all controlled substance use are prohibited at Fun Valley. Violations are subject to a minimum $500 fee and removal from the park without refund.

Other damage not listed above will result in a $150 minimum fee.

Please place all trash in the provided dumpsters. A $25 fee will be assessed for leaving trash in lodging.

Fees incurred will be charged to the credit card on file.
Lodging Linen:
Guests will be provided with pillows and mattress covers. Guests will need to bring bed linens (sheets, pillowcases, and blankets), bath towels, bathmat, kitchen towels, as applicable.
Fun Pass Account:
The Fun Pass enables guests to charge to their reservation. The reservation owner is ultimately responsible for all Fun Pass charges made on their reservation, even if the Fun Pass wristband/card is lost. Immediately report a loss to the Office so the lost Fun Pass may be deactivated. Lost passes are subject to a $5 replacement fee.
Visitors:
Fun Valley welcomes day visitors if they abide by all Fun Valley policies.

Visitors who wish to tour the property must register at Security and receive a 1-hour, one-time-only pass. This pass must be returned to Security upon departure.

A registered guest must accompany visitors who will spend more than 1 hour in the park.

Visitors spending a few hours with a registered Fun Valley guest must register at Security, pay a fee of $25 cash per day per vehicle for up to 5 people at Security or the Office, and receive a visitor’s pass. The registered Fun Valley guest must meet the visitor at Security to serve as an escort. Guest visitors' vehicles should park in the overflow lot. Visitors must depart Fun Valley by 9:00 PM.

Visitors spending the night(s) with a registered Fun Valley guest must register at the Office and pay a $10 vehicle permit fee. There may be an additional nightly fee for the visitor. The registered Fun Valley guest must meet the visitor at the Office to serve as an escort.

While all visitors are responsible for their own actions, the registered guest is also responsible for monitoring their visitors’ actions and are responsible for any damages or fees that may occur.
Pet Policy:
Fun Valley is a pet-friendly property, with a limit of 2 pets per lodging unit. ​Lodging guests with pets will be charged a non-refundable $40 cleaning fee per pet. All pets must be registered at the Office at Check-In.
When outside, pets must be leashed with their owner on the other end of the leash. When your pet poops, you must scoop. Pets cannot be left outside unattended (leashed or in fenced areas). Aggressive dogs or dogs that bark excessively cannot remain in the park. Guests shall be financially responsible for all damages their pet(s) cause. Additional fees will occur if excessive pet hair is left in lodging and any poop is not picked up around the lodging/RV Site.
Pets are not allowed on furniture.
Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are between 10:30 PM and 7:30 AM. All guests must be at their RV site or park lodging by the 10:30 PM quiet time. Excessive noise levels and disruptive behaviors are subject to removal without refund.
Damages:
Guests are responsible for the cost of rectifying damages they cause to Fun Valley property, including cleaning services and additional cleaning needs due to pets. Should these damages come to our attention after the guest has departed, Fun Valley reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card to rectify the damages.
Fun Valley will not be held responsible or accept any liability for any theft of, damage to, or fire on any RV, vehicle, or trailer on Fun Valley property. At the owner's risk, RVs, vehicles, and trailers are on these premises. Fun Valley is not responsible for acts of God (i.e., falling trees, rising water, etc.). Guests should be insured to cover these risks.
Guests should ensure RVs are correctly connected to park service sewage and water systems and electrical pedestals using adequate surge protectors. Guests are subject to sewer spillage and clean-up fees from connecting or disconnecting drain hoses. Do not flush flushables, wipes, paper towels, grease, feminine products, or other personal products, including chemicals, into the sewer system.
Smoking, Drugs, & Alcohol:

Fun Valley is smoke-free inside all facilities on the property, this includes you, your party, and any guests who may join you during your stay. Smoking, vaping, or other tobacco use discovered inside park lodging or a park facility shall result in a $150 minimum charge to your reservation account for each occurrence.

While cannabis, containing THC, is legal in the state of Colorado, Fun Valley has a strict no cannabis use policy on the property.

Cannabis and all controlled substances are prohibited at Fun Valley. Violations are subject to a minimum $500 fee and removal from the park without refund.

Fun Valley Guests are prohibited from consuming, possessing, selling, or distribution of controlled substances while on Fun Valley Property. The illegal use, possession, distribution, disposal of, or sale of drugs which are unlawful under the Controlled Substance Act are strictly prohibited. To determine compliance with these guidelines, Fun Valley reserves the right to utilize "Drug Dog" monitoring.

Alcohol use is allowed at your site or lodging unit. Consumption of alcohol in common or public areas is not permissible. Those consuming alcohol must be of legal age. Being intoxicated at any time is grounds for removal. Please drink responsibly.
Security:
We foster a safe environment at Fun Valley. If a concern arises, don't hesitate to contact Security personnel. Please obey park rules and directives from those in authority. Disorderly conduct is not tolerated. Guests who fail to follow instructions from Security personnel and Fun Valley policies are subject to removal without refund.
VEHICLES
Vehicle Policy:
All vehicles (including additional cars or trucks), golf carts, and trailers must be registered with the Office. Each cabin/motel/rental trailer/RV site comes with parking for one vehicle (in addition to guest’s RV), plus a golf cart. All vehicles must be on your site, off roadways, or in the overflow area. All utility trailers or additional vehicles will be stored in the Overflow Area.

There is a $10 permit for each additional vehicle.

For the safety of all guests, the property's speed limit is 7.4 miles per hour (mph). This limit applies to all vehicles, gas or electric, including bicycles.

Unsafe or irresponsible operation may result in the loss of use while on Fun Valley property.

Registered guests must attach the park permit sticker to the driver's side windshield and always make it visible. For security reasons, vehicles without visible stickers will not be allowed in the park.
Overflow Storage of Recreational Vehicles and Utility Trailers:

Additional vehicles and utility trailers are to be parked in the Overflow Area.

Fun Valley allows guests who must come and go during the season to store their RV/Utility Trailer in the Overflow Area.

​Guests will be charged a $5/day or $90/month storage fee, which must be prepaid.

Guests must complete a registration form in the Office.

Fun Valley will not be held responsible or accept any liability for the theft of, damage to, or fire of any RV, vehicle, or trailer on Fun Valley property. The owner assumes all risk for parking any vehicle on Fun Valley property.

Vehicles parked in the overflow lot should be within designated, marked spaces. Please check with the Office for oversized vehicles and long-term parking.
Golf Carts:

Rental golf carts are available to registered guests in the Gift Shop on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be at least 21 and possess a valid driver's license to rent or operate a golf cart. Credit cards are the only form of payment accepted. A Golf Cart Rental Waiver must be completed at the time of rental. A site number is required to rent golf carts.

Golf cart rentals are due by 10:00 AM on the return date. Late fees will apply if returned after the return date and time at a rate of $30 per hour.

Personal golf carts can be operated with a signed Fun Valley waiver and a $10 permit fee payment at the Office. The registration permit must be placed on the golf cart in plain view. Golf carts driven after dark must have headlights and taillights. Drivers must be at least 21 and possess a valid driver's license to operate a personal golf cart. Guests shall safely operate the golf cart and drive at or under the posted speed limit.

Golf carts may only be operated on the main roads within Fun Valley, excluding the dirt roads that lead up the mountain.

Guests are responsible for damages or injuries incurred from improper or unsafe use. Fees for damages and repairs will be billed to the guest's credit card on file.

Fun Valley is not responsible for unsafe operation or damages to others.
Off-Road Vehicles:
Use of any off-road vehicles, gas or electric--UTVs, ATVs, dirt bikes, kids' motorized vehicles, motorcycles, etc., is prohibited from being operated on Fun Valley property. These vehicles must be stored in the overflow parking area. For additional clarification, ask Security or Office Personnel.
Recreational Vehicles:
Safely operate your bicycle, electric bicycle, pedal-assisted, battery-powered hoverboards, segways, scooters, motorized cars, electric one-wheeled skateboards, etc., under general park rules. Unsafe operation of these vehicles may result in loss of use in the park. The Speed Limit of 7.4 mph applies.
Motorcycle/Scooters:
A street-legal motorcycle/scooter may only be driven by a licensed driver between your site and the front entrance. Recreational riding around the resort is prohibited. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum.
ACTIVITIES
Fishing:
Fishing in the Fun Valley ponds (excluding Pay Pond) is part of your site/lodging rental fee and does not require an additional permit.

All fish caught in Fun Valley ponds must be kept and not returned to the pond.

Limit of five (5) fish per day. Catch and Keep is required.

One (1) rod and reel with two hooks is allowed.

Guests catching fish in the Pay Pond will be assessed a per-inch fee, which will be billed to their Fun Pass.

Guest are provided a Rod Reel & Bait.​

Fish caught in the Pay Pond or other ponds can be cleaned by attendant with an additional fee

Fishing in the South Fork of the Rio Grande River requires a Colorado State fishing license, which may be purchased in the nearby town of South Fork. Colorado State policy applies.​
Inner Tubes:
Enjoy float trips down the South Fork of the Rio Grande River running through Fun Valley property. Water levels and flows vary and should be considered to determine if conditions are appropriate for your needs and safety. Fun Valley is not responsible for notifying guests of water levels & flows.
Guests who bring their own inner tubes may use them at their own risk.
Inner tubes are available for purchase in the Fun Valley Grocery Store.
Life vests are available for use upon request.
Fun Valley is not responsible for lost items or injuries that may occur from tubing.
Helmets:
We strongly encourage all riders to wear helmets while riding vehicles. Helmets are available for use upon request.
MISCELLANEOUS
Open Carry of Weapons:
Guests may not openly carry or brandish a weapon of any type on Fun Valley property.
Drones:
Due to privacy and safety concerns, remote-controlled aircraft of any type are not permitted over Fun Valley property without prior approval from park management.
Hot Tubs:
Hot tubs are not permitted on Fun Valley property.
Vendor Policy:
Vendors who wish to sell goods or provide services at Fun Valley must have Fun Valley management's approval. Vendors may only display signage in designated areas, and content must be pre-approved by Fun Valley management.
Guests & Visitors violating any of these policies may be asked to leave the park without refund.
